A few months ago, a dear friend of mine, gave me an incredible surprise.
Knowing my passion for antiques, for objects with stories of the past, she gave me a mirror of the '800.
Every time I watch the mirror, I think of how many women before me have done the same thing and I wonder: what they seen reflected?
Maybe they use it at parties, where silk dresses and precious jewelry sorround their figure, or maybe kept it in their bedrooms, to help to remove make-up before going to sleep … who knows!
Today, I will show you my reflex, made of antique objects and not, in any case each with its own history.

Qualche mese fa, una carissima amica, mi ha fatto un'incredibile sopresa.
Conoscendo la mia passione per gli oggetti antichi, che racchiudono le loro storie di altri tempi e vivono dentro i ricordi di chi li ha posseduti, mi ha regalato uno specchio di fine '800.
Ogni volta che mi ci rifletto, penso a quante donne prima di me l'hanno fatto e mi domando sempre: ma che volto ci avranno mai visto?
Magari lo portavano in borsetta alle feste, dove vestiti di seta e gioeilli preziosi, contornavano la loro figura, o magari lo tenevano nelle loro stanze da letto, come supporto per struccarsi prima di andare a dormire…chissà!
Oggi vi racconto il mio riflesso, fatto di oggetti antichi e non, ognuno con la propria storia.
