Alberta Ferretti is without a doubt one of the greatest Italian designers .
She grew up in the great tailoring of the mother, constantly in contact with the fabrics and everything related to the creation of the clothes. Just 18 years old, her determination leads her to open her first boutique in Cattolica.
In 1974 she designed her first collection of unparalleled sophistication, and here comes success: Alberta Ferretti is hailed as one of the greatest Italian designers.
Together with her brother Max, in 1980, founded the family business, the AEFFE, which will bring the initials of his name.
In the 1981 she conquest the catwalks of Milan, but Alberta Ferretti is not satisfied with the success achieved so far and begins to produce the collections of some of the prominent signatures of prêt -à-porter, as Moschino (1983), Ozbek (1988 ), Gaultier (1994 ) and Rodriguez (1997 ).
Its success growing season after season, until the last collection (spring-summer 2014 ), for which, the designer of Romagna, was inspired by Frida Kahlo and stylish Mexican tradition.

A fashion collection in white cotton, lace, flounces, brilliant flowers, black and big earrings, but without the drama of the Frida’s life and career.

Alberta Ferretti è senza dubbio una delle più grandi stiliste Italiane.
Cresciuta nella grande sartoria della madre, costantemente a contatto con le stoffe e con tutto ciò che riguarda la creazione degli abiti, ad appena 18 anni, la sua determinazione la induce ad aprire la prima boutique a Cattolica.
Nel 1974 disegna la sua prima collezione, di una raffinatezza senza eguali, ed ecco arrivare il successo: Alberta Ferretti viene consacrata come una delle più grandi stiliste italiane.
Insieme al fratello Massimo, nel 1980, fonda l’azienda di famiglia, la Aeffe, che porterà le iniziali del suo nome, di cui lei è designer e vicepresidente.
Parte alla conquista delle passerelle milanesi che nel 1981 vedono sfilare le sue creazioni, ma Alberta Ferretti non si accontenta del successo ottenuto fin ora ed inizia a produrre le collezioni di alcune firme di spicco del prèt-à-porter, come Moschino (1983), Ozbek (1988), Gaultier (1994) e Rodriguez (1997).
Il suo successo cresce stagione dopo stagione, fino ad arrivare all’ultima collezione (primavera-estate 2014) per la quale, la stilista romagnola, si è ispirata a Frida Kahlo e alla moda della tradizione messicana.
Compaiono cotoni bianchi, pizzi, balze, fiori dai colori brillanti, orecchini vistosi ed il nero, ma senza la drammaticità che ha contraddistinto la vita e la carriera di Frida.
