Around France: from Provence to Biarrits

Buongiorno ragazze,

questi ultimi 10 giorni passati in Francia sono stati molto emozionanti: ho addirittura fatto surf!!

Come al solito non vi elencherò “dove andare e cosa fare” ma solo le esperienze che ho vissuto e che mi sento di consigliare.

In provenza ci siamo fermati ad Aix en Provence, dove  prendersi una pausa in uno dei tanti caffè ed ammirare il passeggio è una vera gioia per gli occhi ed anche Arles, famosa per l’annuale festival di fotografia che coinvolge tutta la città.

Molto emozionante è stato anche visitare l’atelier di Paul Cézanne: vedere dal vivo oggetti che il pittore ha immortalato nei suoi quadri, ti fa sentire come se lui fosse ancora lì.

Good morning girls,

my travel in France was very exciting: I even made surfing!!

As usual I will list “where to go and what to do” but only experiences I lived and that I would recommend.

We stopped in Aix en Provence, to take a break in one of the many cafes and watch the world go by is a real looker and also Arles, famous for the annual photography festival that involves the entire city.

It was also very exciting to visit the studio of Paul Cezanne: see live objects that the artist has immortalized in his paintings, it feels like he’s still there.

Fare una piccola sosta in Camargue (dove potrete ammirare centinaia di specie di uccelli, cavalli e tori selvaggi) e scegliere di passare una notte in fattoria senza wifi, potrebbe essere l’occasione per socializzare al massimo con culture e persone provenienti da tutto il mondo, oltre che ritrovare il contatto con la natura.

Vi consiglio di arrivare alla cena molto affamati, dato che in fattoria gli antipasti iniziano con i salumi e terminano con le cozze (peccato che nel mezzo passeranno 12 tapas!),continuano con un secondo di carne e uno di pesce e perchè no, anche il dolce!!!

Make a short stop in Camargue (where you can see hundreds of species of birds, horses and wild bulls) and choose to spend a night in a farm without wifi, it may have the opportunity to socialize with people from all over the world, in addition to regain contact with nature.

I recommend you get to dinner very hungry, since the farm starters begin with cold cuts and end with the mussels (pity that in the middle pass 12 tapas!), Continue with a second course of meat and fish and why not, the sweet!!!

Se poi volete dare un po’ di brivido alla vacanza, cavalcare le onde atlantiche di Biarrits non vi deluderà, anche se siete dei novellini come me!
