Per farvi iniziare la settimana con il giusto sprint, vi presentiamo un brand di accessori molto ma molto bello (a mio avviso le loro creazioni sono eccezionali!): ecco a voi Maiden Art!

Abbiamo fatto una piccola intervista alla stilista del Brand, Maristella Colombo, così che possiate captare tutta l'energia e la passione che mette nel proprio lavoro.

Intervista:

A) Come e quando nasce il marchio Maiden art? Il nome da cosa deriva?

M) Maiden-Art è un marchio di gioielli e accessori, fondato da Maristella Colombo nel 2007. Maiden-Art significa Arte Pura, vestire l'Arte. Il mondo di Maiden-Art è contraddistinto da ricerca, innovazione e ironia. Le collezioni di Maiden-Art sono create con il linguaggio dell'eleganza tutta italiana, sofisticata e glamour. Tutte le creazioni sono realizzate esclusivamente con i migliori materiali e totalmente fatte a mano da artigiani italiani. Maiden-Art non è solo un progetto di moda, ma è anche il risultato della fusione tra arte e sperimentazione, attraverso fotografia, video arte e performance. Il marchio Maiden-Art è stato elezionato per il progetto Vogue Talents e il suo nome è inserito nella lista dei 140 Emerging Designers di Vogue Italia, grazie ad una ricercata collezione di borsine gioiello per la P/E2011. Nel 2011 Maiden-Art e' stato anche scelto come brand Italiano a rappresentare il made in Italy alla prestigiosa fiera Internazionale IFF di Tokyo, grazie alla sponsorizzazione di Hot House-Milano Pret a Porter. Nel Febbraio 2012 la designer di Maiden-Art Maristella Colombo e' stata scelta tra i finalisti del prestigioso premio CNA Giovani Imprenditori della provincia di Novara, ricevendo un riconoscimento per il lavoro svolto e per diffondere un prodotto ricercato del Made in Italy nel Mondo. Le collezioni Maiden-Art sono spesso presenti in editoriali di Vogue Italia & Vogue Shopping, WWD, Vogue.it, Style.it, Numero, Fashion Press Japan, Fudge & Ginza Magazine Japan, Fashion, Glamour Italia, Elle Italia & Very Elle Accessories, The Ophra Magazine USA, Nylon, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar,Dazed & Confused ecc…

A) A che tipo di donna si rivolge?

M) Il marchio Maiden-Art si rivolge ad una donna determinata, decisa, forte, sensuale, un po' rock ma allo stesso tempo romantica e sognatrice.

A) Maristella, quando è nata la tua passione per la moda?

M) La mia passione per la moda e' nata sin da bambina, quando nella sartoria dei miei nonni mi sbizzarrivo a disegnare abiti e piccole collezioni ovunque, basta che trovassi un foglio dove disegnare! Ho sempre avuto sin da piccola una forte passione per il disegno e l'arte. Da piccola ero anche affascinata dall'arte del profumo, infatti avevo e ho tuttora una vasta collezione di profumi di tutte le marche ma anche essenze ricercate provenienti da tutto il mondo.

A) Quali sono i designer che più hanno influenzato la tua carriera?

M) Sicuramente Karl Lagerfeld, di cui apprezzo le idee, lo stile e soprattutto il fatto che sia eclettico, un creativo a tutto tondo.

A) Ci puoi dare qualche anticipazione sulla tua nuova collezione?

M) La mia nuova collezione sara' giocata sui toni del blue oltremare con pietre come lapislazzulo e cristalli multisfacettati colorati nei toni delicati, sarà molto poetica ma non posso dire altro. per ora..:-)

A) A che anno risale la prima collezione?

M) La mia prima collezione risale al 2004 ma non di gioielli, in quel periodo disegnavo collezioni di abbigliamento. La mia prima collezioni si chiamava "Les ombres des fleurs", una capsule collection che ha vinto numerosi premi e ha sfilato anche al Palazzo del festival di Cannes per un concorso francese. Poi ho continuato a disegnare collezioni abbigliamento per marchi sia Italiani che Internazionali fino a quando ho deciso di realizzare una mia linea di gioielli e accessori moda nel 2007.

A) As and when the Maiden art brand was founded ? The name is derived from what?

M) Maiden-Art is an Italian jewelry and accessories brand, founded by Maristella Colombo. Maiden-Art means Pure Art, in other words to dress the Art. Its world is made of research, innovation and irony. Maiden-Art collections are created with the language of Italian elegance, sophisticated and glamorous. All creations are made exclusively in the best quality materials and entirely handmade by Italian craftsmen. Maiden-Art is not only about fashion, but it’s the result of the fusion between art and experimentation. The artistic work of the designer like photography, video art, performance become naturally the inspiration for Maiden-Art’s creations. The brand Maiden-Art was selected by Vogue Talents and the brand was included in the list of 140 Emerging Designers of Vogue Italy, thanks to a collection of small precious jewels clutches for P/E2011. Maiden-Art in 2011 and was also selected as a brand to represent the Italian made in Italy at the prestigious International Exhibition IFF Tokyo, thanks to the sponsorship of Hot House-Milano Pret a Porter. In February 2012, the designer of Maiden-Art, Maristella Colombo was selected as a finalist of the prestigious Young Entrepreneurs of the province of Novara, receiving an award for her work and for spreading a Made in Italy product in the World. A) What kind of woman is it for?

M) Maiden -Art is addressed to a woman determined, decisive, strong, sensual, a little bit rock but at the same time romantic and sentimental .

A) Maristella, when did your passion for fashion start?

M) My passion for fashion born when was a child, when designed clothes and small collections anywhere in my grandparents tailoring, as long as you had a sheet where to draw! I've always had since childhood a strong passion for drawing and art. As a child I was also fascinated by the art of perfume and in fact, I still have a huge collection of perfumes, essences from around the world.

A) What are the designers who have most influenced your career?

M) Surely Karl Lagerfeld, which I appreciate the ideas, style and especially the fact that it is eclectic, creative all-rounder.

A) Can you give us some anticipation about your new collection?

M) My new collection will be played in shades of blue with stones like lapis lazuli and crystal colored in gentle tones, it will be very poetic but I can not say anything else for now .. 🙂

A) In that year dates the first collection?

M) My first collection was in 2004, but not jewelry, at that time was drawing clothing collections . My first collection was called "Les fleurs des ombres ", a capsule collection which has won numerous awards and has also marched to the Palace of the Cannes Film Festival for a competition in France. Then I continued to design clothing collections for both Italian and International brands until I decided to create my own line of jewelry and fashion accessories in 2007.
