Certo che oggi, dopo due settimane di ferie, è stato veramente un trauma svegliarsi presto!
Ed è proprio pensando a tutte noi ed alla difficoltà che stiamo provando in questa giornata, che ho pensato di postare una vera chicca.
Oggi vi presento una giovane stilista: Reece Curtis-Walwyn.
Londinese, giovanissima, con già alle spalle un curriculum di eccellenza: al suo attivo, vanta di già, la vittoria di diversi concorsi di settore, dei quali ricordiamo il primo premio del "Young designer to watch ‘Loving your curves plus size’ competition" del 2013.
Noi di Agoprime, ci siamo innamorate da subito del suo stile. Guardando ogni sua creazione, ancora oggi, ci stupiamo della ricercatezza delle linee, degli accostamenti dei colori e dell'utilizzo di materiali molto diversi ma perfettamente combinati tra di loro.
Per conoscere di più di questa fantastica artista, l'abbiamo intervistata.
A: Quando è nata la tua passione per la moda?
R : La mia passione per la moda è iniziata quando ero al liceo, quando era solo un hobby. Appena ho finito le superiori, ho capito che potevo trasformare il mio hobby in una carriera ed è da qui che inizia il mio viaggio.
A: Quali sono i designer che più hanno influenzato la tua carriera?
R: All'interno del mondo della moda ci sono molti designer che hanno motivato le prime fasi della mia carriera. Tuttavia, designer come Hussein Chalayan, per la sua collezione Primavera/Estate 2007, così come Alexander McQueen, per l'utilizzo di vestiti molto strutturati e difficili da indossare, quasi sempre al limite della moda. Infine Chanel, è stato per anni fonte di ispirazione, soprattutto per gli elementi sartoriali classici.
A: Ci puoi dare qualche anticipazione sulla tua nuova collezione?
R: Tutta la collezione "Venter Deform" è stata ispirata dal motto "in piedi sulle spalle dei giganti" da "La storia di un ventriloquo" di Nina Conti. Mi hanno ispirato anche i contorsionisti che hanno piena consapevolezza del loro corpo della forma dello stesso in certe posizioni. Tutte queste fonti hanno dato vita ad una collezione di capi sartoriali strutturati
A: Quando uscirà la collezione?
R: "Venter Deform" uscirà all'inizio di gennaio 2014.

Of course now, after two weeks of vacation, it was really a shock to wake up early!
And it is thinking of us and all the difficulties we are experiencing at this day, that I thought I'd post a real treat.
Today I present to you a young designer: Reece Curtis-Walwyn.
From London, young, a full curriculum with the wins of several sector competitions, of which we mention the first prize in the "Young Designers to Watch 'Loving your curves plus size' competition" of 2013.
We fell in love from the start of her style. Looking at each of her creations, even today, we are amazed by sophistication of the lines, the combination of colors and the use of very different materials but perfectly combined with each other.

A: When did your passion for fashion?
R: My passion for fashion started when I was at secondary school, were fashion was only a hobby. It was not until I left secondary I realised I could turn my hobby into a career and that is where the start of my journey began.
A: What are the designers who have most influenced your career?
R: Within the fashion industry there are many designers work, which have motivated my early stages of my career. However, designers such as Hussein Chalayan for his Spring/Summer 2007 collection just amazed me how the clothing would move into another outfit on it own. As well as Alexander Mcqueen for using structure through clothing which was still wearable. Also always pushing the boundary of fashion. Lastly Chanel being a label, which has been around for years having the classic tailoring elements.
A: Can you give us some anticipation about your new collection?
R: Throughout the collection "Venter Deform" the journey of the inspiration was taken from a two pound motto ‘Standing on the shoulders of giants’. Which lead to her research into a documentary called Nina Conti – A ventriloquist’s story: Her Master’s Voice, while discovering theory and methods behind ventriloquism. As well as influences from contortionist and understand the body and how it can portray certain shapes in certain positions. All sources will be combine the to create a Womenswear range with structured tailored garments with a twist.
A: what year is out your first collection?
R: Venter Deform Collection will be out early January 2014.
